Millwall Academy defender Chin Okoli visited Faraday School in Blackwall last Wednesday (8th December) for a presentation on gaining success from working hard and overcoming adversity.

Chin’s inspirational talk was to the children of years 4, 5 and 6 at the school, and consisted of a PowerPoint presentation before answering questions from both the children and the school staff. Both the children and staff found Chin to be engaging and humble - and the children really took to him!

Danielle Baycanli, P.E. Lead at Faraday School, spoke of Chin's appearance by saying: "Chin’s speech and presentation was really inspiring for the children of Faraday School. He spoke about all of the hard work and dedication that comes with being a professional footballer, as well as the importance of education.

"The children really enjoyed asking him questions at the end and now know his nickname at training! Faraday School wish Chin and the rest of Millwall Under 18s the best of luck with their FA Youth Cup game on Wednesday - Come on you Lions!"
