Millwall Show Their Support for Her Majesty Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend With Street Parties
Over the weekend, we celebrated Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
Everyone had their own special way of celebrating Her Majesty’s life of incredible service and dedication to our nation. At Millwall, we celebrated by holding fun street parties for the community.
Sean Daly, MCT CEO, said: “It was a pleasure to help with the events. It brought an amazing sense of togetherness within the community on such an important day.
Things like this should definitely be done more often to encourage that sense of community among local residents.”
MCT plan on holding another event in Fawkham Green, Kent is the near future.
