Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Danny McNamara has put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract at The Den.

The 23-year-old right-back has made 58 appearances, scoring two goals, since his first-team debut in an Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at Boreham Wood in January 2021, and will now form a part of Gary Rowett's set-up for the forseeable future.

McNamara's two goals memorably came in the same game, as The Lions defeated Barnsley 4-1 in April 2022, after coming close to breaking his duck on a number of occasions.

The defender has made three appearances so far in 2022/23 and now joins Shaun Hutchinson, Billy Mitchell, Murray Wallace and Tyler Burey in tying himself to SE16 for years to come.

Stay tuned to millwallfc.co.uk to hear from McNamara.
