Millwall Lionesses trio Jordan Butler, Mia Lockett and Sharna Giordani visited Demelza, South East London today to give presents to their young people.

Demelza offers a community hospice at home service for children and young people up to the age of 18.

Each child who visits Demelza South East London has access to their own bedroom, with a specialist bed or cot and ensuite bathroom.

The hospice also has specially adapted bedrooms, designed to enable an enhanced level of independence for young people staying with them.

Parents and siblings are welcome to stay in their family accommodation, complete with kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and lounge.

The trio started off by greeting staff before heading to see the young people where they handed out Christmas presents.

Following this, the staff at Demelza showed The Lionesses around the centre and provided information.

The trio then headed back to say goodbye to the children after what was an excellent visit.

Jason Vincent, MCT’s Safeguarding & Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI Lead) as and Millwall Lionesses General Manager said: “Demelza does such fantastic work and after learning what they do for children and their families it is incredibly moving.

“It was brilliant to see Millwall Lionesses players visit them and hand out Christmas presents and support the incredible work that is done there!”
