Following on from that Millwall’s Pan Disability team beat Palace For Life Foundation in the Lions Centre with both teams enjoying the game.

There was a family fun zone inside the sports hall of the Millwall Community Trust where children enjoyed the bouncy castle and football games as well as playing a huge version of Connect four.

Millwall Community Trust ambassador and professional boxer Chris Kongo was in attendance and taught children boxing skills whilst joining in and participating in the fun.

In the afternoon, Deptford Rascals - a local band - played at the Blue Bus whilst there was local businesses showcasing the excellent work they do in partnership with the Trust.

From 1:30pm onwards, Romans, Pride, Lionesses, Post-16 students and other volunteers were outside the ground with bucket collections with all donations going to the Trust and the Lions Food Hub - whilst fans were able to pick up a special edition ‘Community Day’ shirt and a wristband.

Ten minutes before kick-off Millwall Lionesses U14’s took part in a guard of honour for the players as they came onto the pitch.

The day didn’t stop there as it ended with a lap of honour from all Trust attendees and participants as well as Chris Kongo and Paul Loding - Captain of the Millwall Romans -  won recognition awards from the Millwall Community Trust for all their great work.
