Millwall Community Trust will be supporting MPS Awareness Week commencing Monday 15th May.
This annual celebration serves as a means to spread awareness of Mucopolysaccharidosis (M.P.S.) Disorders.
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease caused by the body’s inability to produce a specific enzyme. The missing or insufficient enzyme prevents cells from recycling waste, resulting in the storage of materials in cells throughout the body.
Millwall fan Harvey Brown has the condition but still follows The Lions home and away and has a cafe named after him in the Trust called Harvey’s Den.
If anyone wants to pop up wearing blue to Harvey’s Den and get their photo taken to be put on Facebook.
