Millwall Community Trust hosted two successful holiday camps over the May Half-Term.

The camps ran at two different locations - with one being held at St Paul’s and the other at The Lions Centre.

Both camps ran from Tuesday 30th May - Friday 2nd June between 10am-2pm each day.

The St Paul’s holiday camp was a new, football specific camp with over 60 children attending on a daily basis.

The children enjoyed a variety of technical sessions, football tournaments, small-sided games as well as learning new skills that were taught to them by our UEFA and FA qualified coaches.

At The Lions Centre, we held a Multi-Sports holiday camp where over 40 children attending on each of the four days.

Children were able to enjoy all sports meaning there was something for everyone to take part in.

Tim Sells, Millwall Community Trust’s Football and Sports Development Manager said: “We thoroughly enjoyed delivering these two holiday camps over the half-term period.

“It was great to be able to offer something for everyone and to deliver a more football specific course for the first time. We have a responsibility to help keep our community's children fit and active over the holiday periods whilst keeping costs down as much as possible. It was fantastic to see so many children taking part and having fun whilst learning valuable new skills they can take away from the camps.

“We are already looking forward to our next holiday camps so please keep an eye out for news of where and when they will be.”
