Millwall Romans have been crowned London Unity League Champions for the 2022/23 campaign.

Their 4-0 win against Stokey FC last week meant that Charlton Invicta needed to win by a much superior margin to catch them.

Now, that win has secured them champions of the London Unity League (LUL) for the 2022/23 season.

The London Unity League is an amateur football league based in the capital, designed to allow LGBTQI+ friendly clubs to come together and play football.

The Romans have been sitting at the top of the LUL table since the start of the season and have gone from strength to strength. as the season has developed, including a national cup run to the semi finals stage.

Sean Daly, CEO of the Community Trust, said: "Congratulations to the Millwall Romans on another excellent campaign - which ended in becoming champions.
