Millwall Community Trust have personally been thanked by Southwark Council for their help on “Become a Youth Parliament Member” campaign.
The campaign was aimed at 14-19 year-old who live in Southwark and want to make a real difference.
It means that the participants are able to influence young people and make sure their generation’s voice is heard.
The letter from Southwark Council’s Youth Engagement Officer, Jessica Kouadio read:

I am pleased to announce that the present cohort of the Southwark Youth Parliament have successfully completed their two year term.
I would like to personally congratulate your organization and especially staff members that supported young people in representing their school or local area during the parliament term.
Your students have successfully worked collaboratively and passionately on highly sensitive topics that are important to the young people of Southwark.
