Millwall MAN v FAT League Nominated for Partner of the Year Award
Millwall MAN v FAT league has been nominated for Partner of the Year award at the second annual MAN v FAT awards ceremony, after another successful season!
Millwall Community Trust has been working alongside MAN v FAT to provide a programme that allows men to lose weight while doing what they love. The programme has been headed by our coach, Ken Collins, since it was established at Millwall, and it has gone on to see the participants reaching milestones, forming friendships, and winning game after game.
MAN v FAT South East Regional Manager, Dan Church, was pleased to present the nomination to MCT, and said: "We would like to congratulate Millwall Community Trust on being nominated for the MAN v FAT – Partner of the Year award. It is no coincidence that some of our most successful clubs are those run in conjunction with proactive and supportive partners, so thank you for your backing of MAN v FAT over the past twelve months.
We have been delighted to have worked with Millwall Community Trust over the last twelve months.
For a MAN v FAT club to be successful, you need to have an engaged and supportive partner and Sean and his team have been fantastic for us and our members at the club. We have every faith that the Millwall club will continue to go from strength to strength next year and we wish them well in the upcoming MAN v FAT Awards."
Sean Daly, CEO of the Trust, said: " We wanted to bring MAN v FAT to Millwall so it could help men in and around the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark. The progress has been amazing, the work put in by all the men and coach Ken has really paid off. It has great to see that work recognised and appreciated. We look forward to seeing how the league continues to progress".
MAN v FAT will be hosting its second annual awards night on Saturday 5th February 2022, as we celebrate the amazing progress made by our members. Tickets can be booked via Awards Room platform. Everyone is welcome to attend, so please spread the word and get your teammates, friends and family to attend on the night!
