Millwall Community Trust and Millwall Football Club are excited to announce that it will host its annual ‘Community Day’ when Barnsley FC visit The Den on Saturday 9th April 2022.

The day is an initiative that will provide a platform for the club to showcase the wide variety of fantastic work performed by Millwall Community Trust. There will be a long list of events taking place throughout matchday in SE16.

SE16 bus stop will see a local DJ playing before the game, participants on the MCT Post-16 education course and others will be holding a bucket collection and giving away 500 limited edition Millwall Community Trust t-shirts and wristbands around the stadium.

Sean Daly, CEO of the Community Trust, said: "We're excited have the community day at The Den. Unfortunately, the last community day couldn't take place due to COVID. However, we're committed to making this year's the biggest and best one yet!

The day is great way to make the local community aware about all the programmes we have available, as well as, a host of local organisations and charity stalls which fans are encouraged to visit. I encourage everyone to note down the day and come along to celebrate and enjoy our community together."

More information regarding the activities and what's available on the day will be released as we get closer to the day.
