Millwall Community Trust ambassador and Lionesses player Kelly Webster is the proud recipient of the PFA Community Champion Award for 2020/21.

The Trust are delighted to share the news of our inspirational Kelly Webster being the winner of the PFA Community Champion Award. Speaking of the accolade, Webster said, "It is an absolute honour to win the PFA Community Champion Award 2020/21, and now to have won it two years in a row! I am blown away to win such a prestigious award.

"The local community means so much to me, because it is where I live and work. There are many amazing people that help make our community such a wonderful place to be and everyone supports one another. I hope to inspire more people to get involved in their communities, as I believe helping others gives you the best feeling.

"I would like to thank Sean Daly for the award, as he is always there whenever I need help or advice. He is a true inspiration in what he does for the community. I would also like to thank my fiancée Ellen, because she is always there for me. Whether it be helping me with the staff wellbeing hub at Lewisham hospital, or volunteering her time at the food hub while I am at work, I couldn't do all this without her. Also, I would like to thank everyone at Millwall Lionesses for their amazing support and all that have helped with the Lions Food Hub.

"Winning this award representing Millwall community trust and Millwall Lionesses means the absolute world to me. Being a part of such a prestigious club is a true honour and something I am truly grateful of.

Winning this award shows how much hard work Millwall as a whole do for the community and I am proud to play a small part in that.

"A big thank you to all the supporters for all your help with everything I do. It means the world to me."
