Gregory Perkins has joined Millwall Community Trust as the new Premier League Kicks Project Officer.
We found out a bit more about Gregory and what his role entails…
Gregory, can you tell us a bit about yourself please?
I come from a sports educational background. Woking in class as well teaching Physical Education. In addition to teaching I manage a grassroots football club, AFC Lions located in Dulwich.
What are your aims and objectives in your new role here at Millwall Community Trust?
Becoming a Premier League Kicks Officer is a great opportunity for me to deliver football sessions across the boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark.
My role as the Premier League Kicks Officer is to organise and provide football sessions to children who may find it difficult to access local football.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am most looking forward to raising the awareness of Millwall's Premier League Kicks Project. It would be an honour to increase the amount of young people participating across South London.
