Millwall Lionesses fell to a 5-0 defeat against Dartford on Sunday afternoon.

Despite the defeat, it is just two defeats in eleven league matches for Ted Jones’ side.

Millwall Lionesses saw their highest attendance of the season with over 200 at St Paul’s Sports Ground.

Dartford took the lead in the fifteenth minute with a strike that found the top corner.

Maisie Joyce nearly levelled immediately - her effort crashing into the bar.

The visitors doubled their lead after the ball fell to the striker’s feet who tapped home. It was three just after the half hour mark, a free-kick from 20 yards out found the bottom corner.

Millwall nearly pulled one back after the restart as Emel Huseyin found Mia Lockett whose effort went just over.

Dartford added a fourth on 64 minutes before scoring a fifth with a finish from close range.
