Millwall Community Trust will be running the Rocky and Wrighty Arena, running community programmes for the local residents in around Lewisham.
The arena has been open since April 2023 where Ian Wright himself opened the facility.
The floodlit all-weather facility is a game changer for children at the school and people in the wider community, who now have access to a quality, safe and inclusive place to play all-year round.
Millwall Community Trust aims to provide local people and groups the opportunity to access the state-of-the-art football venue in a safe and positive environment.
MCT’s Football and Sports Development Manager, Tim Sells said: “We’re delighted to finally get this one over the line.
“From the 1st April, Millwall Community Trust will be managing the Rocky and Wrighty Arena, running community programmes for the local residents in and around Lewisham.”
