Millwall FC First-Team duo Casper De Norre and Joe Bryan visited Millwall Community Trust’s (MCT) February Half-Term Holiday Camps at The Lions Centre.
MCT runs in excess of 100 football and multisport courses across 13 weeks of the year in the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark and across Kent.
As a registered charity, all proceeds go back into MCT’s work at the heart of the community.
Running every school holiday, the courses vary from a weeklong to three days and even one day. The day normally runs from 10am-3pm and are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 5-13.
De Norre and Bryan started the visit by taking part in a Q&A where the children were able to ask questions they’ve always wanted to know the answers to.
After this, the midfielder and left-back encouraged the children from the sidelines as the participants took part in small sided matches as well as Arts & Crafts.
The duo then finished the afternoon by taking photographs with the children and signing autographs.
Emily Poole, MCT’s Primary Stars & Schools Co-Ordinator said: "It was an excellent afternoon for the children to have First-Team players Casper De Norre and Joe Bryan visit their holiday camp.
"It just shows what Millwall Community Trust is all about, helping in the local area, and the players doing this will make such an impact on these children."
