Millwall Community Trust (MCT) CEO Sean Daly has received a special recognition award from the EFL for his outstanding 26 years of service in the EFL.
MCT CEO Sean Daly received the award at an EFL conference in Birmingham last week before Director of Community at the EFL Debbie Cook presented the award pitch-side prior to The Lions victory over Derby County of Tuesday night.
Sean Daly joined Millwall Community Trust in March 2018 after spending 18 years as the Head of football and sports development at Charlton Athletic Community Trust, where he oversaw the schools programme, holiday camps, player development centres, and coach education programmes. Sean was also a youth phase coach at the club’s successful youth Academy.
Before joining CAFC, he spent 6 years working in MLS league in America as an U16 coach for Tampa Bay Mutiny.
Sean is a qualified UEFA A Licence coach and was an FA Tutor for the last ten years which took him around the world to places like South Africa, China, Spain, and Holland delivering FA coaching on behalf of the FA.
