Congratulations to Josh from our Advanced Player Performance Pathway, who has recently been identified following a fixture against academy opposition.
Josh has shown excellent commitment, attitude and quality throughout his time in the programme and this recognition is fully deserved.
Our Advanced Player Performance Pathway is designed to support and challenge players in the right environment and it is great to see players like Josh taking these opportunities and progressing.
Nick Farrell, MCT's Football & Sports Development Officer said: "Josh has been brilliant since joining us. His attitude to learning, willingness to improve and consistency have really stood out. The programme is built to provide opportunities and expose players to the right level, and Josh has taken full advantage of that.
"Opportunities in football can arise at any moment, so it is crucial that we prepare players to be ready and confident to seize those chances when they come and Josh is a great example of that."
Josh's Mum added: "We’ve been really pleased with how the Millwall Advanced programme has supported Josh alongside his grassroots football. It has complemented his development perfectly and given him opportunities that he wouldn’t have had anywhere else. The experiences and level of coaching have been fantastic for him."
