What a fantastic way to end another brilliant season for our Teams! It was a busy and memorable weekend, with our Adult Team travelling to Arsenal for a friendly fixture, while selected players from our Under-17 team represented Millwall at the Premier League Pan-Disability Festival at Fulham's Training Ground.

Before looking back at the weekend, it is important to celebrate what has been an excellent season for our Adult teams.

Our Adult teams competed in the Friendship League alongside Southwark Stars and Sutton United. On the final matchday of the competition, our Millwall League 1 Team were crowned champions. Winning the trophy was a reward for the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm shown by every player throughout the season, both in training and during matches.

Our Millwall Championship Team finished in third place, showing huge improvement compared with last season. The players developed their teamwork, confidence making great progress throughout the year.

The celebrations continued over the weekend as our Adult Team travelled to Arsenal. We played several friendly matches at the Arsenal Hub, producing some excellent performances. The team won three matches and drew one, showing great teamwork, determination and quality.

After the matches, players from both clubs mixed together to play another game. This was a fantastic opportunity to build friendships, improve social skills and enjoy football together.

To make the day even more special, Arsenal surprised us with a guided tour of the Emirates Stadium. Players and coaches had the chance to visit the changing rooms, press conference area, players' tunnel and pitchside. It was an unforgettable experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

On Sunday, selected players from our Under-17 team took part in the Premier League Pan-Disability Festival at Fulham's Training Ground. The tournament began with grading matches to determine the teams' ability levels. Out of 11 teams, Millwall finished sixth, earning a place in the Championship competition.

The team then produced an outstanding performance, winning every match on the way to the final. Although we narrowly lost the final, finishing as runners-up, everyone should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

Throughout the day, the players showed excellent football, outstanding behaviour and great sportsmanship. They supported one another, worked hard as a team and demonstrated passion, commitment and resilience from the first match to the last.

As coaches, we could not be prouder of every player who represented Millwall this season. Their dedication, positive attitude and love for the game have been inspiring to watch. The progress made by every team this year has been incredible, and this wonderful weekend was the perfect way to celebrate another successful season.

A huge thank you to all the players, families, volunteers and staff who have supported the programme throughout the year. We are already looking forward to another exciting season ahead.

As we celebrate another fantastic season, we are already looking forward to September, when our weekly training sessions will begin again. We can't wait to welcome all our players back as we continue to improve together, develop new skills, make new friendships and, most importantly, have fun playing the game we all love.

See you all in September – Come on you Lions!
