Are you aged between 16-24 and currently out of education, and/or unemployed?

We are currently recruiting for our new 8-week trainee academy programme, Millwall Second Chance Academy.

The Millwall Second Chance Academy is run by Millwall Community Trust to give aspiring young people a chance to break into the professional football industry world. It also allows any trainees that have been released by a football academy, or currently out of education, a second chance in the industry via a 12-week full-time football industry training programme.

The programme allows young footballers and those wishing to work in the professional football industry to come in to Millwall to learn, train, and coach like a professional whilst also being educated. The aim of the programme is to develop trainees and coaches with the right behaviour, attitude, and manner to be successful in the football industry, and if appropriate, earn a place onto Millwall's Post 16 Academy and Education programmes on completion. The programme also provides full-time football training via our Academy Sports and Education's UEFA & FA Licensed coaches.

Whilst studying as a trainee alongside your football and coaching programmes, you will also be able to acquire qualifications and essential work experience within Millwall Community Trust and Millwall FC that will help you get a career in sport. Through our extensive partnerships with local football clubs and wider sporting industry organisations, we also provide extensive opportunities to ensure as a trainee you can move onto meaningful further education and employment in the future.
