Since February 2022, the trust has run professional academy level sessions for local football players, offering them a chance to showcase their talents and develop via professional football coaches.
The Millwall Player Performance Pathway has been set up to bridge the gap between grassroots and academy football.
South London is renowned for producing talented players and the performance pathway was created to help identify youngsters who are excelling within the local community and directing them into the Millwall Academy.
Sessions replicate the academy curriculum to ensure a smooth transition for players who reach the required level and the Pathway has a resident scout based at every session.
