On International Women's Day, Millwall and the MCT join the EFL in celebrating the fantastic women who work for The Lions, its Lionesses, and female supporters of the club up and down the country.

International Women's Day is an opportunity for the MCT to recognise the vital work of its female staff, the support of fans and the achievements of the Millwall Lionesses.

We recognise the day as an opportunity to show appreciation to the female staff who day in, day out, make a massive difference to the operation of the club and MCT and keep us moving forward.

The day is also an opportunity to recognise the achievements of Millwall Lionesses who currently sit 3rd in the London South East Regional table, having won nine of their opening 14 matches.

This Sunday they'll face New London Lionesses at St Paul's Sports Ground. The team always welcome new supporters, and they'd love to see fresh faces this weekend! The game is set to kick-off at 1.30pm.

Year on year The Den welcomes more female supporters through its gates and we remain committed to creating a safe, friendly space for supporters to enjoy watching their team. #HerGameToo is a group of female supporters who are passionate about football and working to eradicate sexism in the football industry.

They want women and girls of all ages to feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football both online and in real life without fear of sexist abuse. We continue to support the work of the campaign and are proud to highlight the fantastic work being achieved by #HerGameToo.

Millwall's fixture against Preston North End on the 15th April will see Gary Rowett's team wear #HerGameToo pre-match t-shirts, as well as other pre-match activations, to encourage discussion and once again shine a light on the campaign.
