On Saturday 24th of June, Millwall’s Disability team hosted a great tournament  at the Lions Centre with Charlton and Woking Wolves all involved.

It was a great afternoon of football, sportsmanship and as always a fantastic opportunity to develop skills.

The tournament was divided into three leagues: U14 – U16 and the adult league.

All team displayed great skills, team spirit, commitment and positive attitude, with all matches being really tight and as a consequence two finals were decided by penalties.

Each club attending the tournament managed to win a league as below:

Under 14 – Millwall

Under 16 – Woking Wolves

Adult – Charlton Athletic FC

All teams played so well and it was so nice to see so many people attending the event creating a unique vibe.

Focusing on Millwall, we are very proud as all teams earned a place in all finals, winning the U14’ and losing the U16's on penalties and the adult final 2-1.

Since last summer we have been working so hard with the Pan Disability teams, seeing their improvement.

Thank you for their hard work and commitment it’s a great achievement for all people involved such as the players, families and coaches.

On Saturday besides their football skills, we were really pleased to see their communication and support to each other improving so much.

We are definitely on the right path and I would like to use this occasion to thank everyone that are supporting those sessions and tournaments.
