A fantastic way to end the season for our under 16 team as we travelled to Cobham to the Chelsea Training Ground to attend the Pan disability Football Festival.
We took part in tournaments, skills development stations and the opportunity to meet Chelsea Legend, John Terry.
The players did so well at the tournament playing London derby’s with team’s such as Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Arsenal, with our Lions displaying a fantastic performance, winning 4-1.
Also a great performance in the defeat to Southampton, coming back from 3-0 down to lose 3-2 which demonstrated a great team spirit.
Our players also had the opportunity to meet and play a match with the Chelsea amputee team which gave a great opportunity to learn how the game is adapted to their need and appreciate their fantastic skills.
It was a great day and fantastic way to celebrate football and disabilities, looking forward to restarting with upcoming tournaments after the summer holidays.
