Millwall’s Represent Programme in partnership with Conisborough College visited The Den on Thursday morning before going to Hollywood Bowling.
Conisborough Represent group YR7 visited the Den enroute to their end of year Hollywood Bowling reward trip for their outstanding National Literacy Trust Represent programme performance and commitment throughout the spring and summer terms that culminated in a performance at the House of Lords and keynote speakers at the NLT national conference in Westminster.
The group have had a fantastic year and have given performances to be proud of as well as working to an excellent standard.
John Scarborough, Millwall Community Trust’s Education and Employability Manager said: “It was great to celebrate the girl's efforts with an end of year trip to Hollywood bowl which I am sure some if not all may soon be at the level of Hollywood stars if they carry on their current trajectory performances.
“I look forward to seeing them progress their presentation and Oracy skills next year.”
Beyonce Blair, Millwall Community Trust’s Represent Programme facilitator said: “The girls had so much fun today at Hollywood Bowl, I think it was the perfect way to end the school year. I can’t wait to see them all again in September.”
