Congratulations to Millwall defender Danny McNamara on making his 100th appearance for The Lions on Saturday.

McNamara’s 100th game came as Millwall beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at The Riverside Stadium - to confirm their first win on Teeside since 2014.

The 24-year-old first attended a Community Trust holiday camp before progressing on to a Player Performance Pathway session - and now a professional football career.

McNamara made his Lions debut against Boreham Wood in the FA Cup in January 2021.

His first goals for the club both came against Barnsley in April 2022 on Community Day, scoring a brace as Millwall won 4-1 against Barnsley.

Sean Daly, Millwall Community Trust CEO said: “Congratulations to Danny on a superb milestone for the club.

“We have seen his progression since starting on Millwall Community Trust schemes and we can’t wait to continue seeing his development as a player.”
