Millwall Community Trust Women’s and Girls Football/Sport Ambassador Aidomo Emakhu stepped off the substitutes bench to score a dramatic stoppage-time winner for Republic of Ireland’s Under-21’s last week.

With their EURO 2025 qualifier against Turkey locked at 2-2, the striker swept home in the 96th minute to spark wild celebrations in the Emerald Isle.

Emakhu and Ireland will now hope to gain maximum points from their next fixture, which is at home to San Marino on Tuesday night.

It was a break to forget for Millwall Community Trust Disability Ambassador George Saville, however, as Northern Ireland suffered back-to-back defeats against Slovenia and Kazakhstan, with Tom Bradshaw hoping to feature for Wales in Latvia on Monday night after being an unused substitute in their 0-0 friendly draw with South Korea.

Millwall Community Trust Women’s and Girls Football/Sport Ambassador Romain Esse enjoyed game time for England's Under 19s, meanwhile, as he was involved in both the narrow 1-0 defeat to Germany and the 4-2 win over Switzerland.
