Millwall’s Pan disability teams have had a great start to the new year. All teams had the opportunity of taking part in matches and tournaments giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and grow as a team.

The Adult Team had an excellent day taking part in the ‘Friendship League’ hosted by the Southwark’s Stars at the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Sports Facility. Other teams attending were Sutton United and Camden Town FC.

Millwall took part in both leagues, Championship and League 1.

Millwall’s Championship side did extremely well, showing improvement playing as a team by winning two games, drawing one and losing one.

Special mention to Tyrese who scored three goals and once again a super performance.

Also, special mention to Harley who attended his first tournament and scored a great goal on his debut.

Millwall’s League 1 Team had a fantastic tournament, winning three matches and drawing the last one.

All players had a great day but special mention to Omar who led the team in his first tournament. Another special mention to James for a fantastic performance and a great first goal with Millwall, Steve for a super performance as a goalkeeper and finally to Christopher for a great debut in a Millwall shirt.

Again, thank you to Southwark Stars for hosting a great event.

The under 18’s had a great match against Drumbeat School Football Team at the Lions Centre. A very close match finished 5-4 to our Lions. Special mention to Keerson who had a great game, Dimi for a fantastic first tournament with the team and David who scored two great goals and improved throughout the match. Players displayed great skills and moments of very good football as a team.
